Last Saturday’s New Product Launch & A Free Auction Bid

Saturday’s new product launch was all we expected it to be. A typically well produced, well presented, and enjoyable day.

Len Fitzgerald (who is a co-founder and who does a sterling job in making the customer support department the best I have ever known) started things off with an update on the company and told us that new servers will increase the rate at which e-Lottery websites load and will also be expandable to 4 times the number of members they deal with at present. They will also be expandable to cater for more members after this capacity has been reached.

From Monday 8th May 2006, there will be new tools and promotional material (in your e-Lottery website back office) for promoting the Grab-A-Grand competition. Apparently over a quarter of a million people have now played Grab-A-Grand and the conversion rate is 6% so it’s obviously worth promoting.

Mark Davis (Head of marketing) announced a new Grab-A-Grand website allowing people to pick 5 numbers (for FREE) to win £1000 and also a follow-up game for £5000 if they refer additional members to the competition – a nice viral marketing strategy.

Also available are the new Grab-A-Grand scratch cards, website scratch cards and e-flyers. Look out for these in the Tools section of your e-Lottery website back office from Monday.

Still with Grab-A-Grand, there will be downloadable flyer files that you can take to a printer and get them made up. Printing.com were mentioned who have 133 outlets over the UK and Ireland and are equipped to deal with these files.

Ian Orford gave a talk on how to promote your e-Lottery business. One idea that Ian suggested was to do a search on Google for the name of your home town. Any local websites that came up could be approached with the idea of adding an e-Lottery banner – either yours or theirs. If you want more ideas for promoting your e-Lottery business you'll find them on my group affiliate's website, to which I give free access to people joining my group as affiliate members.

Peter Jones, who is the Secretary of the Lotteries Council here in the UK and has sat on the House of Commons joint select committee on gambling, also took to the stage for a short period. I met him afterwards and when a man in his position says “I’ve waited a long time to see a truly networkable lottery opportunity” I think it says everything about the integrity of this business and the people involved in it. By the way Peter is an e-Lottery affiliate himself.

In the afternoon session, the new game was finally unveiled by Tom Brodie (co founder of e-Lottery). It’s a lowest unique bid auction called e-lotbidder in which you play for a major prize with mass appeal – I guarantee you’d like to have this prize for yourself - I know I would!

Although this is a skill game, it will appeal to gamblers and non-gamblers alike and unlike the e-Lottery, the major search engines like Google and Yahoo should allow it to be advertised freely.

It’s an ideal add-on to your existing e-Lottery business. In fact it’s probably better than the e-Lottery in some respects, because unlike the e-Lottery where you only play twice a week, there is no limit to the number of times a player can bid on this new auction game, enabling you to profit from it 24/7.

The game can be played from a PC or a mobile phone. So you could give your business card to someone in the pub and a few seconds later they could be placing their first bid. The first bid incidentally is FREE, as an incentive to get people to open an account and start playing.

CLICK HERE to see the new e-lotbidder website and make a FREE bid for the big prestigious prize on offer!

If you are already an e-Lottery affiliate, your own personal website will be www.e-lotbidder.com/xxxxxxx where the string of Xs are replaced with your e-Lottery membership number e.g. 19201pm

To offer people a FREE bid from their mobile telephone you need to get them to send a text message with their bid. For example, if they wanted to bid £3.54 they would text

car 19201x 3.54

and send it to 80039
Now my e-Lottery membership number is 19201 (as shown in red) so you would need to replace my membership number with yours – keeping the ‘x’ on the end. Also notice that there are 2 spaces in the above text.

There is no doubt that this new product will appeal to a mass market of people – even those who don’t play the lottery. This is your opportunity to promote this game and make an additional income for yourself. But you can’t do it unless you are an e-Lottery affiliate.

To upgrade your account to affiliate status, log in to your e-Lottery website and click on the MY Details tab at the top of the screen. Then scroll down to where it says Upgrade.

I’m sure there will be more information about the new game on e-Lottery TV shortly, but if you have any questions prior to this, please email me or call me on +44 (0)7963 827153. Or alternatively you can now call me for free over the Internet (if I’m on line) using Skype (www.skype.com)
My username is: smartwaytoplay

P.S. If you have any potential e-Lottery players who would like to talk to someone who has been a member for 2 years now, please feel free to give them my telephone number or organise a 3 way telephone conversation with me on Skype.
